Changes to mortgage interest relief and a surcharge on stamp duty for second homes has made many landlords to reconsider whether they should be renting or not. It would seem that property price growth has…
Our mission is to be an approachable, accessible provider of high-quality legal services across the South West whilst being part of the local communities in which we are located and to be the firm of choice for both clients and staff.

With clearly defined divisions catering for business and private clients, our teams are able to offer the very best legal advice through a full range of legal services, across a wide range of areas and commercial sectors.

WBW Solicitors and Chartered Financial Planners has a long history of working and building relationships with individuals, organisations, and companies in the South West. We are dedicated to providing the best legal and financial services to our local community and, as part of this philosophy, we actively support and sponsor local groups, clubs and charities.
Each year we have a nominated charity of the year, our current chosen charity is Alzheimer’s Society. Alzheimer’s Society’s funded research aims to improve diagnosis, develop new treatments, and improve care and support for people living with dementia.
WBW Solicitors has taken a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society for those affected by dementia. The firm has pledged to become a dementia-friendly organization, with individuals across the business participating in training sessions to become ‘Dementia Friends.’ This initiative will empower them to provide support to individuals with dementia and their families.
Corporate Social Responsibility
At WBW, we take pride in ourselves for our corporate social responsibility.
We are glad to be fortunate enough that we can provide charitable donations to great causes such as the ‘Make a Will Week’ where we raised £9,165 for Rowcroft Hospice. We are also thankful that we have such vibrant local communities around us with an abundance of activities and events to get involved with, for example, The Big Tackle event organised by Rowcroft Hospice which we have been sponsors of since its inception in 2020.
However, we believe being socially responsible extends beyond the community and charity work that we do. We argue that in order to be truly socially responsible we must actively try to limit our impact on the environment. This is why we have considerably increased our efforts in environmental responsibility over the last few years.
Sustainability and Environment
WBW put the ‘’World first’’ when it comes to sustainability, awareness of our impact on the environment and reducing our carbon footprint. We promote the circular economy principle of reducing, repairing and reusing as much as possible in all thirteen of our offices. When purchasing new supplies we ensure all our paper is 100% recycled and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure the products we use are sustainable wherever possible. Toner Cartridges and IT equipment are also recycled. As the number of our offices expand we ensure travel between locations is limited to essential journeys, and where necessary combined with the delivery of post or stationery.
In order to further offset our impact on the environment, we are using Binit for the majority of our waste removal services and print our business cards only on 100% recycled paper. Binit are experts in commercial waste removal and more importantly, recycling. No matter what recycling and rubbish we produce, Binit have the vehicles and facilities to process it locally and in the most eco-friendly way possible. Nothing gets sent directly to the landfill. They send nearly all the rubbish to be incinerated at Energy from Waste (EfW) plants. These generate electricity and heat that powers homes in the UK. The by-products and bottom ash are generally used in the construction industry and any metal in that ash is recycled. Recycling, such as glass, cardboard or tins are processed at local Material Reclamation Facilities (MRF) and can be taken mixed or source-segregated.

What Our Customers Say
She proved to act quickly and professionally and filled us with confidence that all areas of the process were being dealt with fully.
Excellent service. The person dealing was very approachable and very helpful. After care service was good when I approached her about an associated matter. All in all, very efficient.
We wanted to let you know how grateful we are for managing the conveyance of our Farm so smoothly. Never before have we been asked so many questions about a septic tank! We really appreciated your cool hand on the tiller and will be in touch in the future when we find a house in UK. Please pass our thanks to the front desk colleagues who were always so obliging and friendly.
The business of making changes to my Will was carried out smoothly and efficiently by Susannah with whom I had a nice conversation via Skype. All the members of office staff I spoke with were equally pleasant and helpful.
We have used Anju before and have been very satisfied with her excellent service.
Justin put me at ease through a very difficult period with his excellent and attentive service.
I thought highly of James, he helped me make the right choices in a very difficult situation
My wife and I were hugely impressed by the service provided by Sam Allnutt and her team. It was our first home purchase and we could not have asked for more. Communication was excellent and not only was a great mortgage offer found, but also the additional life cover and various insurance information was superb. I would recommend Sam’s services to anyone.
On all occasions I have been most grateful for the friendly approach taken by Emma Oakley together with her efficiency and professionalism. She deserves all the praise due to her.
Thank you very much for your professionalism, patience and kindness in working with my Mum on her Will. I would happily recommend you to my friends & family.
Thank you for all of your hard work and due diligence, without which we would not be picking up the keys today. We have really appreciated your time and energy into making this happen for us and would very much like to conduct business with you in the future.
