Charity Partnerships | WBW Solicitors

Charity Partnerships

At WBW Solicitors, we select a new charity to support every two years, currently partnering with Alzheimer’s Society. Our previous partnerships include Brain Tumour Research and British Heart Foundation, in addition to our longstanding support to local hospices such as Rowcroft Hospice.

Alzheimer's Society

Our Commitment to Charitable Partnerships

At WBW Solicitors, we like to give back to those who support our local communities and clients whom we act for. As part of this pledge, every two years we embark on a journey with a new charity partner, dedicating our resources, time, and efforts to support their cause.

Currently, we are honoured to partner with the Alzheimer’s Society, focusing on making a tangible impact in the lives of those affected by dementia. This partnership underscores our ongoing dedication to community support, a commitment we have demonstrated through previous collaborations with organisations such as Brain Tumour Research and British Heart Foundation, in addition to the ongoing support provided to charities such as Animals In Distress, Ferne Animal Sanctuary, and Rowcroft Hospice.

Building a Dementia-Friendly Community

Our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society is not just about donations – it’s about meaningful involvement and raising awareness. A key part of our initiative is the Dementia Friends training for our staff, signifying our pledge to become a dementia-friendly organisation. This program educates our team on how to best support individuals living with dementia, ensuring they and their families feel understood and valued. We are pleased to announce that we now have over 100 members of our staff trained as Dementia Friends, further committing to our community’s well-being.

Support Through Every Donation

In every WBW Solicitors office, you will find donation boxes for the Alzheimer’s Society, a simple yet powerful way for both staff and clients to contribute to the cause. These donations play a crucial role in supporting their vital research and services, illustrating the collective effort of our community to make a difference.
