About Us

Our Exeter Office is located just minutes from the bustling Exeter High Street and the stunning Cathedral. This office is easily accessible by car, train, bus, cycle, or on foot. Our Exeter Office expanded in November 2019 following a merger with Exeter and East Devon solicitors Ford Simey, and following that a merger with Exeter-based solicitors Crosse + Crosse in August 2022. It was a perfect fit as both firms shared a similar ethos centered on delivering high-quality legal advice that works for our client’s needs.

With two defined divisions for business and private clients, WBW Solicitors delivers a full range of legal services to individuals and businesses, including Wills, trust and probate, tax advice, residential conveyancing, family, personal injury, and medical negligence. We also offer litigation, employment law advice, commercial law advice, and commercial property services, as well as having a dedicated team of farm and estate specialists.

At WBW, we offer more than just expert legal advice. We have an in-house team of Chartered Financial Planners as well as an independent Mortgage department, allowing us to cater to all your financial requirements.

If you are looking for legal or financial advice in Exeter or the surrounding areas, please don’t hesitate to contact us using the contact form or details above. We look forward to hearing from you.

For all Crosse + Crosse enquiries, please call our Exeter office number: 01392 274126.

Why we love Exeter…

Exeter Cathedral

Magnificent in warm, honey-coloured stone, Exeter’s cathedral is one of Devon’s most impressive sights. Dating largely from the 12th and 13th centuries, the west front is framed by extraordinary medieval statuary, while inside the ceiling soars upwards to the longest span of unbroken Gothic vaulting in the world, dotted with ornate ceiling bosses in gilt and vibrant colours.

RAM

A fixture on the city’s cultural scene since Victorian times, this vast red-brick museum recently received a £24 million revamp. It holds significant and diverse collections in areas such as zoology, anthropology, fine art, local and overseas archaeology, and geology.

Exeter Quay

Exeter’s Historic Quayside is one of the most attractive areas of the city, popular with locals and visitors alike for its fascinating history, interesting architecture and lively pubs and restaurants. Why not hire a bike and canoe from Saddles & Paddles to explore what the quay and river exe has to offer.

These are just a few of the many places you can visit in Exeter if you find you have time before or after your appointment with us.

Joanne Hayes

We were selling our property in the run up to the end of the Stamp Duty holiday in June 2021, so I can only imagine how many people were trying to exchange and complete in time to avoid paying full duty. Despite that, Jo was extraordinarily calm and professional and at no point did I feel I was not kept fully informed. In fact, I would go as far as to say (steady on!) that the process was actually enjoyable.
