Why we love Sidmouth…

Sidmouth Beach

Sidmouth is known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The beach is predominantly pebble and shingle, but there is an expanse of sand at low tide. The Esplanade runs the full length of the beach, with a mixture of Regency buildings, shops, cafes and restaurants on the other side of the road.

Connaught Gardens

Situated at the western end of Sidmouth beach is Jacobs Ladder which reaches up to the award-winning Connaught Gardens. Beautifully maintained, with fantastic views, a beautiful bandstand and a wonderful cafe, the Gardens are certainly worth a visit.

Sidmouth Museum

A small but very interesting museum full of artefacts and information on the history of the town, including a picture of the seafront prior to the construction of the Regency buildings. The museum is run by volunteers and free to enter, however, donations are welcome.

These are just a few of the many places you can visit in Sidmouth if you find you have time before or after your appointment with us.
