WBW Solicitors proud to support local rugby

More than 70 guests of WBW Solicitors enjoyed a day out at the local derby rugby match between Newton Abbot and Brixham; which ended in a 9-9 draw.

Among the guests was former England Colts star Nick Bagge, now retired after a long career with Paignton and Brixham, and ex-Devon player Sean Irvine.

The WBW man of the match was Newton Abbot Rugby FC player Shek Sherrif. Sherrif, who played for Premiership side London Wasps as a youngster, was presented with the award by WBW Solicitors managing partner, Steve Bulman.

“We had a fantastic day out at Newton Abbot, as we always do,” said Mr Bulman. “WBW Solicitors feel it is important to support organisations – sporting and otherwise – in the town we have served for more than 150 years.”

Keith Maclean, the Newton Abbot chairman, said WBW had supported the club for a number of years and are always welcome visitors to the ground, “It is great to see local businesses getting behind their local team and bringing their clients along too,” said Mr Maclean.
