The Living Coasts is a cutting-edge coastal zoo and aquarium which features an abundance of different marine animals in their natural habitat that you can see and enjoy at your leisure. As well as being a fun attraction, Living Coasts is also a conservation and educational charity that are well known in the local community for their green initiatives and environmental work.
This summer, we will be teaming up with the Living Coasts for 3 separate beach cleans around Torbay. The exact dates, times and locations can be found below:
- Saturday 13th July – Goodrington Sands, Paignton. 10.00 a.m. – 12.00 noon.
- Wednesday 14th August – Torre Abbey Sands, Torquay. 12 noon – 2.00 p.m.
- Saturday 14th September – Beacon Cove, Torquay. 1.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.
These beach cleans are vital for keeping environmental conditions under control so that both land and sea based animals are able to live and thrive without being adversely affected by man-made pollution and waste. Whilst this will undoubtedly improve the cleanliness of the beaches in the short run, we recognise that more is needed to be done by everyone if we want our oceans and beaches to remain clean. This is why WBW Solicitors have a long-standing commitment to reduce its impact on the environment wherever possible and we are glad to have this opportunity to be able to help the Living Coasts improve the conditions of the beaches across the English Riviera. A comprehensive list of everything we do to achieve this objective can be found here.
