We have an opportunity for an Agricultural Lawyer to join our growing Farms & Estates team, based in our Exeter and East Devon offices, including Axminster, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exmouth. This is an excellent role for someone with existing agricultural experience.

You will work with a broad range of clients including farmers, landowners, rural businesses and estates. The role may include:

• Advising on rural and agricultural property transactions.
• Dealing with farm sales and purchases, transfers of equity and succession planning.
• Advising on agricultural tenancies and property rights.
• Supporting clients with land development, diversification and commercial projects.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in other departments where required.
• Promoting the department and building strong client and referrer relationships.
• Managing your own caseload and maintaining compliance at all times.

Support and supervision will be available for candidates looking to grow their technical knowledge.

The Candidate:

We welcome applications from Solicitors, Legal Executives and experienced Practitioners.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 2–5 years’ PQE in agricultural or rural property matters, or relevant experience managing their own caseload.
• Be capable of working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail and excellent client care skills.
• Be enthusiastic about building relationships and supporting the wider Rural Services team.
