Laura Thompson is a Senior Associate in the Private Client department at WBW Solicitors. Laura joined the firm in August 2022 and is based in the Launceston office.
Laura specialises in Probate & Estate Administration, Wills & Estate Planning and Powers of Attorney. She has a particular interest in advising the local farming community with regard to Inheritance Tax and Succession planning, often collaborating with other departments within WBW Solicitors and external agencies.
Laura became a full Accredited Lifetime Lawyer in 2019 and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2021. She has never been more passionate about her work and in helping her clients with their legal affairs.
Laura was nominated and awarded Private Client Lawyer of the Year by Cornwall Law Society in 2026, the judges commenting that “A passion to support farming and the local community made them the worthy winner”.
