Katherine Wright is an Associate and works in the Family Law department at WBW Solicitors. She joined the firm in 2022 as part of a merger with Crosse + Crosse Solicitors, with whom she had worked for since 2013. She is primarily based in our Torquay office.

Katherine has particular expertise in:

• Divorce and separation advice:
• Financial provision upon divorce:
• Complex financial disputes:
• Child arrangements orders:
• Parental responsibility orders and agreements:
• Specific issue orders:
• Prohibited steps orders; and
• Injunctions for protection against domestic abuse.

Katherine’s expertise is recognised as a Resolution Specialist with accreditation in two areas: Advanced Financial Provision and Private Children Law following separation and divorce. As a member of Resolution, Katherine adheres to the organisation’s code of conduct when trying to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

In October 2022, Katherine passed her Law Society Family Law Advanced accreditation. This accreditation covers specialist areas of family law work and for Katherine her specialist areas are Child Abduction and Wardship and also advice in and conduct of Ancillary Relief. This accreditation shows that Katherine is an expert in her specialist areas of Family Law.

Katherine studied at Cardiff University where she gained a degree in Law and French and a distinction in her post graduate Legal Practice course, before training and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2019 in Devon.
