Kate has a wealth of experience in resolving all kinds of disputes, including commercial disputes, boundary disputes, landlord and tenant, right of way disputes, property disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery and intellectual property (passing off claims). Kate also specialises in collective enfranchisement (buying the freehold of flats) alongside our property department.
Kate has successfully helped many clients and acts for a wide ranging client base from international companies to sole traders/private individuals.
She studied Law and Social Policy at the University of Lincoln and then completed the LPC at the University of Exeter. Kate trained in the North West and relocated back home to Devon in 2011. After moving back home, she worked for a firm in East Devon. In 2012, she shadowed the President of the Queens Bench Division, Royal Courts of Justice and thereafter shadowed a local District Judge which gave her an insight into how the Judges handle cases.
In her free time Kate goes running, and enjoys yoga. She helps out with coaching cricket and is a supporter of Exeter Chiefs (although there is not much free time with having a young family!)
