Karen Denham is an Associate and works in the Tax and Trusts team of the Private Client department at WBW Solicitors. She joined the firm in 2024 and is based in the Exeter office.
Karen specialises in Wills & Estate Planning, Probate & Estate Administration, Tax
and Powers of Attorney.
She re-joined WBW Solicitors in 2024, having previously worked for the firm between 2017 and 2023. Prior to 2017, she spent 15 years working for a large national commercial law firm where she specialised in insurance litigation.
Karen qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, having previously qualified as a Legal Executive in 2007. She achieved a distinction in her Legal Practice Course and received the Sweet and Maxwell Law Prize at the University of Plymouth in 2009. Karen is also an Affiliate Member of STEP.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending the theatre and live music events, cooking and entertaining. She is participating in the London Marathon in April 2025, having previously run two half marathons and several 5km events for charity.
