We at WBW Solicitors are delighted to announce that, through our participation in Rowcroft Hospice’s Make a Will Week 2024, we have raised an incredible £6,250 for this vital local charity. We are immensely grateful to our clients, colleagues, and the community for their generosity and support. Rowcroft Hospice raised a total of £13,050 through the initiative.
Rowcroft Hospice plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon. With 75% of their funding coming from donations and gifts in wills, the hospice relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to continue offering its outstanding support services.
Catherine Causey, Head of Private Client at WBW Solicitors, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We are absolutely thrilled to have raised such a significant amount for Rowcroft Hospice in 2024. Our team worked tirelessly to support the initiative, and we are so appreciative of our clients who contributed so generously. These funds will help Rowcroft continue their exceptional work, ensuring patients and their families receive the care and support they need.”
Since WBW Solicitors began supporting Make a Will Week, we have helped raise a total of £77,971.50 for Rowcroft Hospice, reaffirming our commitment to giving back to our community.
Making a will is one of the most important things you can do to ensure your wishes are honoured and your loved ones are looked after. Additionally, choosing to leave a gift in your will is a lasting way to support charities like Rowcroft, helping them continue their essential work for generations to come.
Rowcroft Hospice has expressed heartfelt thanks for the funds raised, which will go directly towards providing care in patients’ homes, in the community, and at their Inpatient Unit in Torquay.
