Circus Starr is the circus with a purpose! They are an independent, charitable organisation that holds inclusive and fun circus shows to benefit disadvantaged children in 74 communities throughout the UK. Thanks to the support of local businesses in each town that they visit, they are able to provide free circus tickets to children and their families to enjoy the spectacle of live performance, creating shared memories that will last a lifetime. Their events welcome children facing various difficulties, from additional learning needs or disabilities to bereavements or a visual impairment. Circus Starr creates a safe environment that unites communities through the magical art of circus, giving families the chance to make long-lasting and happy memories.

The Coronavirus pandemic has meant that there are more children than ever before who deserve some happiness, and the support of local businesses like ours help them make that happen. For over 30 years they have shared the magical art of circus with those who are the most disadvantaged and vulnerable in our community. They understand how important and inspiring live arts can be, and that’s why they bring them a world class show with a difference.

Their tour will stretch the length and breadth of the country and on Wednesday 25th August 2021 they will be performing live in Torquay at the Torbay Monday Market Site. Through its unique network of partner charities and local businesses, Circus Starr provides over £1.3 million worth of free tickets to children, their families and community groups throughout the UK every year.
