Ian Avery has been in financial services for over 30 years. His career began within the pensions department of a leading insurance company. His keen interest in personal finance developed and this was enhanced by professional qualifications, with accreditation as a pensions specialist in 2002. These foundations enabled Ian to be first registered as a financial adviser in 2003.

In 2007, he was one of the earliest to qualify as a Chartered Financial Planner.

Ian has gained experience working with adviser firms that specialise in investment management and before joining WBW Chartered Financial Planners, his focus was advising wealthy individuals within a prestigious private bank.
