WBW Solicitors are pleased to announce their continued sponsorship of the South Devon Football League, an organisation they have been supporting for the past 15 years.

President of the league, Mervyn Benney and treasurer Ian Richardson visited WBW’s Newton Abbot branch last week to receive a cheque from partner Justin Osborne.

The WBW Solicitors South Devon Football League has members from all over Teignbridge, Torbay and the South Hams and is one of the biggest leagues in the county. Current champions are the Watcombe Wanderers in the Premier League and Dartmouth in Division One.

Mr Benney said: “I am delighted with WBW’s ongoing commitment to the league, sporting organisations like ours rely on local business support.”

“This money means we can pay for match officials and our administration costs. It also means we can help our member clubs with their affiliation fees and sports equipment as local clubs are increasingly pressed for funds.”

Solicitor Justin Osborne said: “WBW are proud to be sponsors of the league. As a player in the league myself, I know how important local football is in our community, and I am delighted that we are able to continue our support.”
