• Malcolm is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and is also a member of the The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) . He also sits on the West Branch Comittee of STEP.

Malcolm Emery is a partner in our Private Wealth team specialising in personal tax and trust advisory work. He also works with our corporate team in providing advice to private companies on tax and succession issues. Malcolm also has substantial experience in dealing with offshore matters relating to individuals (both UK & non-UK domicilaries) and trusts.

Malcolm is also part of WBW Farms & Estates Team specialising in wills, tax, trust and succession planning.

Malcolm joined the firm in 2011, and is dual qualified having qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 1995 with a top four accountancy practice and as a solicitor in 2004 with a top regional law firm.

Malcolm is rated in the current issue of Chambers and Partners as a "leader in his field" and is also recommended in the Legal 500 for the quality of the advice he provides to his clients.

Malcolm was born in 1969 and lives in mid-Devon with his wife and three children.

Malcom's particular interests are sport and spending time with his family.
