Iain joined the firm in 2004, having spent the previous 15 years working for a firm of solicitors in Preston, Lancashire and having qualified as a solicitor in 1993. Since that time Iain has specialised in Commercial Litigation, but also has a significant degree of experience acting for individuals involved in disputes.

Iain is part of WBW Farms and Estates Team specialising in Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution in the farming and estates sector.

Iain is married with two teenage children, and resides in the West Devon area.

Iain represents Claimants or Defendants in private or commercial disputes, he acts on behalf of landlords, both in the business and residential sectors, and has a wealth of experience dealing with property related litigation.

As with all members of this firm's Commercial Litigation Department, Iain appreciates the importance of attempting to seek an early resolution of any particular dispute, with particular emphasis being placed on methods of alternative dispute resolution. In circumstances where it becomes necessary for matters to be resolved through the civil court process, Iain benefits from his depth of experience dealing with matters in the County and High Court, and also appeals against decisions of those courts.
