Tax Man Seeks Life CoachPrintPdfClose »

Life coaches may need help to get their lives back on track if HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is successful in its latest blitz. Life coaches, music teachers and other private tutors are being targeted by HMRC.

They have until 30 March to declare any previously undeclared income: HMRC say they are 'unlikely to seek penalties of more than 20 per cent of the undeclared tax'.

As part of the exercise, HMRC will be making enquiries of schools, colleges etc. regarding the self-employed tutors and teachers they use.
